The Lillian Figure is almost unlocked

Hey White Ashians, 

I'm super excited to report that the Lillian Action figure is almost unlocked and it looks incredible. 

For those of you who missed the earlier update, Lillian is part of this amazing line of Action Figures coming from Tracker Collectables. 

For those of you who backed the campaign previously, waiting for Lillian to unlock at 45K.  I do apologize. There was a bit of a mix-up with Tracker and they shifted Lillian to 60K.  This was something that wasn't communicated to me before it happened.  But I've been assured by the owners of the company that it won't happen again.  With less than six thousand to go and over 24 days, everyone is confident that she'll be unlocked shortly.

I'll be dropping another post when they hit that goal and you can pre-order it directly, but if you'd like to help them get there faster, you can back the campaign here -- bit.ly/TrackerLillian

New Kickstarter (HISMWTC) is Live

Hey White Ashians,

Just wanted to give you all a heads up, my new kickstarter is now live.  

We have some VERY limited rewards that are likely to go quickly (including a serialized metal cover) so if this one looks good to you, you can back it HERE.

Also, for those of you interested in the Lillian Action Figure...

And finally, White Ash Season Two #1 will be out in comic shops tomorrow.  

This is the Scout version of Chapter Five, with an all new cover by Conor Hughes, and several new pages of artwork by Conor and Fin.  The first ALL-NEW issue of White Ash (that has not been on Kickstarter) will be out in February. Here's a peek of Conor's insane cover for that.

As we said before, we'll be collecting all these issues in a hardcover Kickstarter-only version early this summer.  But if you want the Scout issues, tell your shop to add them to your pull.

Lillian Action Figure

Hey White Ashians,

Hope you're all getting some quality family time in as you prep for the Thanksgiving holiday... or for those of you don't partake in the American Turkey day... I still hope you're getting your fill this week of time with your loved ones.

With all the holiday commotion, I did want to let you know about an extra special Kickstarter that's launching Black Friday.  Tracker Collectables is going live with a Kickstarter for Phantom Starkiller and The Electric Black's Julius Black.  

And we're thrilled to announce, when they hit 45K, a Lillian Figure will unlock. 

You can sign up for the campaign HERE.  All three of the figures are incredible cool. I'm planning to get the full set myself.  But if you just want a Lillian one, you'll be able to do that too once she unlocks.  So let's help them get off to a big start so we can make sure this happens. (Again, if you just want a Lillian, you can always switch your pledge down the line)  There will also be an Exclusive "Action Figure" variant cover of Scout's White Ash #1.  

And a CGC version for the hardcore collectors.

Lillian Action Figure, New Kickstarter and Scout White Ash

Hey there White Ashians,

I wanted to drop a quick update and let you know about a few things that we have in the pipeline. First, this isn't White Ash related, but I (Charlie) am gearing up to launch a new series on Kickstarter:

How I Slept My Way Through College And Other Tales From Freshman Year

No elves and dwarves in this one.  But if you enjoy my writing and think you'd find a thriller that's in the vein of House of Cards meets The Girlfriend Experience meets How to Get Away with Murder up your alley... have I got the comic for you.

Sign Up Now to be notified when we go live.  Like our other campaigns, we'll have Early-Bird discounts and limited-edition rewards that have traditionally gone quickly in the past. I'll be back soon with some cover reveals and other teases from the campaign.  Thank you again for all the support.

As for the Scout White Ash... the first issue of the new arc has been delayed a little bit.  Look for it in comic shops on December 1st.  There will be some really great covers available for it including this incredible Cosplay Variant courtesy of Pulp 716 out of North Tonawanda, NY.

And after listening to some of the feedback from you, our incredible fanbase, we're looking to move up the Kickstarter campaign for the Hardcover for Volume 2 (which will include all the new pages) to directly after the last Scout single issue comes out. So look for that early this summer. 

And finally, for those of you who like Action figures, a painted version of this will be coming to Kickstarter through Tracker Collectibles in the next month.

More White Ash is on the way...

Hey White Ashians,

We hope you and your families are healthy and safe.  It's been a crazy year since we sent out Chapter Five.  We've been getting a few messages recently, checking in to see when new White Ash content might be coming your way.  If you backed our Glarien campaign, an update (along with the PDF) went out earlier today with the answer to that question.  But for those of you who are only get the untainted, direct from the tap White Ash, here's what's going on...

Starting in November, White Ash is returning to comic shops with a whole new 8 issue arc. This will be billed as "White Ash: Season Two" from Scout Comics.

DO NOT WORRY, you have not missed a kickstarter. Season One through Scout was everything that was in the Hardcover/ White Ash Chapters one-four. The first issue of Scout Season Two (as seen above) is kickstarter White Ash Chapter Five remastered, with a new cover (including an incredible variant by Jae Lee) and 2.5 new pages of art and story.

As for the rest of Scout White Ash Season Two,  (issues 2 through 8), those are all brand-new. Originally our plan had been to Kickstart every issue of White Ash first and then put them out through Scout. But Conor and his wife had a second baby right after Chapter Five came out and that understandably slowed down his productivity for while.  This left us facing the reality that if we were to Kickstart the next arc first and then bring it to Scout, it would have likely been over two years between the first arc and second arcs hitting the direct market, which may have killed any chance the series had to gain a foothold there.  That said, the only reason White Ash has been able to soar to the heights it's risen to has been the unwavering support of you, the Kickstarter community.  So here's our plan going forward to hopefully support both fanbases.

The first issue is out in November. The rest will be out monthly from February through August of 2022. Again, these are the all-new issues that haven't been out anywhere. There will then be a Scout Trade Paperback collecting it (likely in November of 2022). We will then RETURN to Kickstarter to do a matching Hardcover (of the Vol 1 one) for Season 2. That Kickstarter will likely be in early 2023.

This gives you the kickstarter backers a couple of options in terms of how you get your White Ash content. If you just want to stay Kickstarter exclusive, you can wait till 2023 and get the next arc in one beautiful 200 page+, hardcover package.  If you love single issues and want to read the story as we finish it, please tell your Local Comic Shop you want to add White Ash to your pull (most stores will pull titles for you) and they'll make sure you get it monthly.  Or you can get both. (No judging).  Hopefully by having these options, it also reduces the cost for all of you looking to collect White Ash.  We know comics on Kickstarter come at a premium price.  Distributing through the direct market first gives us the ability to offer single issues at a lower price point.

NOTE: if you do want to get White Ash through your local comic shop, PLEASE tell them now. 

The preorder window lasts for another two weeks. This helps make sure they will actually have it in stock for you.  If it's not a Marvel, DC or hot Image title, if you don't tell your comic shop, there's no guarantee they will have it. Indie comics live and die on preorders.  So PLEASE, tell your shops you want White Ash.

But don't think we're abandoning Kickstarter. In addition to the next White Ash Hardcover, Glarien will continue to be kickstarter only for the run of the mini-series. We have at least one or two other White Ash mini-series planned after that as well.  And depending on how the direct market plays out, we may return here first for the third arc of White Ash (TBD)  I hope that clarifies things. We're just tying to put out the series in a way that feels equitable for both the Kickstarter and the direct market fanbase. Because we truly love our Kickstarter fans. We couldn't do any of this without you.  Thank you again for helping us reach audiences everyone all around the world.
